"I have never tried laser hair removal before, i have been shaving for many years, yes it has been tiring, i mean who likes to waste their time shaving when they can do more productive things like the ironing! haha. ANYWAY, I found out about PureLite from a friend who had their underarms zapped! that's what we call it now "zapped" she has had around 2 treatments so far and hasn't had to shave once since the last treatment! now that sounded good in my books. I have to shave every 4-5 days! so i thought why not take the plunge, PureLite were offering 50% off the first treatment which made it £35!. I visited their salon in Strood, first impression was good location as i like the privacy issue, there is no heavy foot traffic passing the front as you see in some salons on high streets. I met a lovely girl who made me feel comfortable and welcomed which is a big plus when having intimate treatments done. So we proceeded with a patch test and consultation about what i expect to achieve from this. anyway had the patch test done, didn't hurt at all by the way. I was told to come back in around 2 days time to see how the laser reacted to my skin, the pretty lady checked it over and it looked fine :). So we proceeded with the first treatment, which i thought would have made me scream in pain but it DID NOT! more like a instant ping from a thin rubber band, took about 10 minutes to do both arm pits, i was sent on my way with some aftercare material...it's been a couple of weeks now and i have noticed the hairs falling out!! I have already booked my second treatment for 4 weeks time, can't wait!
